Further to the introduction of the Modern Migration Policy (MoMi), we kindly ask your attention for the following:

Start date
Since June 1, 2013 a fixed date should be mentioned as inteded start date and it is no longer allowed to mention “asap” as intended start date. This can be clarified by the fact that the Dutch residence card will be ordered immediately after processing the application (and the fact that the start date will also be the start date of the Dutch residence card), while the Dutch residence card was previously only ordered upon arrival in the Netherlands. In case the employment contract states “asap” as start date, we suggest that we determine the intended start date (to be mentioned on the form) based on experience (time needed for processing the application, collection of the visa en travelling), unless instructed otherwise.

Legal fees
Furthermore, please note that the legal fees for highly skilled migrant applications are currently as follows:

  • EUR 850,- for TEV (combined application for an entry visa -MVV- and Dutch residence permit) or a Dutch residence permit application (if no entry visa required) for the employee;
  • EUR 225,- for TEV (combined application for an entry visa -MVV- and Dutch residence permit) or a Dutch residence permit application (if no entry visa required) for family members of the highly skilled migrant;
  • EUR 225,- for the application for extension of the Dutch residence permit of the family members of the highly skilled migrant.
  • EUR 375,- for the application for extension of the Dutch residence permit of the employee;

Finally, we kindly remind you to forward us a scanned copy of the letter received from the Dutch Immigration Authorities regarding the registration status (“omklap”) of your organization as per June 1, 2013 if not provided yet. In case you have not yet received such a letter and require our assistance, please inform us accordingly.

Should you have any questions with respect to the above, please do not hesitate us.
